Soon, baseballs and softballs won’t be the only flying objects at Warren County’s Ephram White Park.
Taking its recreation offerings into the high-tech realm, the Warren County Parks and Recreation Department has opened a drone flying area at White Park, giving owners of the remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles a place for freestyle flying and racing.
Policies for the drone flying area were approved Friday by Warren Fiscal Court. Parks and Recreation Director Chris Kummer told the fiscal court magistrates that the flying area behind the park’s senior center is 150 yards by 200 yards and will be marked by large boundary poles with wind socks …
