INSCT Research Center Student Panel on UAVs & Privacy:

On April 6, 2013, four students from the INSCT Research Center formed a panel on domestic use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and privacy at the 2013 Conference on National and International Security held by the Student Association on Terrorism and Security Analysis. The student presentation included; an overview of existing privacy case law, evolving technology, potential public safety and law enforcement uses for UAS, proposed state and federal legislation, remedies in tort law, and potential technological solutions to privacy concerns.
