Please use common sense along with your drone

Unmanned aerial vehicles or unmanned aircraft systems — drones to most of us — are among the most compelling new technology of the internet age. By themselves, they are flying toys that lift and hover and loop. But mount a camera on a drone and you have nothing less than a new eye on the world.

They are being used to help firefighters understand the blaze before they step into harm’s way. Scientists are using them in Africa to take inventories of animals in the wild. Journalists have used them to take people to places that we have never before seen. Our military relies on drones for reconnaissance and even for bombing runs in ways that keep pilots out of danger …
